CIGALE 15
ALUBAT
After having designed the Cigale 14, 16 and 18 in the 1990s, we received from the Alubat yard the mission to design a modern 15m Cigale.
The main criteria were to make a modern and fast travel sailing boat, easy to use, and which could go to the most distant areas, polar in particular, thanks to its aluminum hull.
The Cigale 15 uses a lifting keel, the technology of which we have perfectly mastered, allowing access to shallow anchorages.

Its chined hull is modern, wide and powerful, with lots of volume at the front. It is the result of an intensive CFD research campaign. The boat remains relatively light compared to many other aluminum boats in its category.

The rig with carbon mast has no backstay or runner, allowing the simplified use of a square-top mainsail.

The roof has panoramic glazing but remains streamlined. It provides a pleasant view forward.

The bowsprit, which also serves as a roller for the anchor, is integrated into the general design.
The interior is comfortable and bright with a contemporary look, the saloon, located at the rear in the old Cigale, returns to the center to satisfy as many people as possible. It is arranged in a U shape, with a bench return on the keel box. The kitchen is laid out lengthwise for more storage and comfort.
At the front, there is a large owner's cabin with toilet and separate shower, and at the rear there are two double cabins, with a large bathroom on the starboard side.
